This is a forum for advancement in the study and understanding of severe weather events. If you are currently working in the field of meteorology, are a student of this field, are a trained severe weather spotter, or are simply a severe weather enthusiast, this symposium is for YOU!
The focus of the conference is primarily on:
- understanding the latest techniques for severe
weather forecasting
- use of mesoscale and storm-scale modeling
physical processes leading
to the development of supercells and tornadoes
- effective use of remote sensing in severe
thunderstorm evolution and behavior
- highlighting some of the preliminary results of
